Nokonah Residence on Shoal Creek

Having purchased a first floor residence overlooking Shoal Creek in the 11 story Nokonah Condominiums, our client asked F:F to completely redesign and significantly reconfigure the dated (c. 2002) residence through a total renovation, including moving walls, circulation patterns, and infrastructure, all within the parameters of insuring that existing structural integrity and services for surrounding residences would not be interrupted or compromised.

Working within strict logistical parameters, F:F was able to reorganize the space to provide two large bedrooms, including a master suite with en suite luxury bath finished in Carrara marble, ‘Hollywood’ his-and-hers closets with dressing area and tucked in laundry room and small house manager’s office, a second private full bath off the guest bedroom, a powder room, office/ study, and an open living and dining room focused on exterior terraces immediately overlooking Shoal Creek.  The ultra-modern kitchen, open to the dining and living spaces is a focal point for entertaining highlighted by its double islands.  An expansive Statuary marble main island is paralleled by a second island which serves as a buffet and serving countertop.  The range wall is highlighted by a full height application of matching marble mosaic tile.

Custom features include hardwood floor additions seamlessly integrated into existing refinished flooring, stone flooring, a leather and fine wood casework entertainment center, architectural lighting fixtures, and new doors, trim, and finishes throughout the entire residence.
