The landscape was conceived as a reflection of a steep limestone bluff that it mirrors across Bee Creek. The previously constructed pool shell and foundation for the residence were precariously perched above a steep drop off from which we established a series of stone and board form concrete terraces to extend the outdoor use areas and access the creek flowing through the 15-acre site.

Roughback limestone steps and flagstone paving along the lower terrace and Creekside pathways create a transition from building to landscape, weaving together what was separate. The remade native landscape along the disturbed creek edge is designed to reclaim and restore the deeply cut hillside.
